Technical Diving on the USS Emmons
Why not experience a 60-minute dive on the USS Emmons after certification?
Unlike recreational diving, which offers only around 7 minutes of NDL at this depth, technical diving allows you to spend more than three times as long exploring the wreck.

Introduce a section of the TDI | Decompression Procedures Diver
Review basic skills from Intro to Tech

A well-balanced double tank configuration allows you to maintain a stable horizontal trim, precise buoyancy control, and efficient movement underwater.

Proper weight distribution, trim, buoyancy, and equipment configuration are the foundation of safe and efficient technical diving.

Strong Team Diving
Awareness, Communication & Teamwork
You will develop a deeper understanding of the importance of team diving and learn how to execute it effectively. The team moves side by side in a wing formation, switches to a single-file formation when necessary, and forms a triangle formation during ascent. All team members must maintain consistent depth and position relative to one another throughout the dive.
*Solo technical diving is not permitted. Always dive as part of a team.
