What to expect
The famous “Blue Cave” at Maeda Misaki is located in the central part of Okinawa, and it is a popular dive site not only for scuba diving but also for snorkeling and introductory dives. The cave’s interior is spacious, and with a depth of around 6 meters, it is shallow enough for beginners to enjoy safely. Another dive site called YAMADA, where coral cultivation takes place, allows you to observe several species of anemonefish. A small boat will take you from the port to the dive site, and after each dive, you will return to the port in about 10 minutes.
