What to expect Cape Hedo is located at the northernmost tip of Okinawa Main Island and is a popular diving spot featuring the famous Hedo Dome (Ginama Stalactite Cave). With three additional dive points, all offering drift diving, the seasonal spot Payao is especially famous for encountering of oceanic blacktip reef sharks, and schools of batfish. What to expect The dive site "Gorilla Chop" derives its name from a rock formation that resembles a gorilla chopping. This is a spot enjoyable for all divers. With a shore entry, the average depth is around 7 meters, with a maximum depth of about 13 meters, making it suitable for all types of diving such as experience dives, training dives, and configuration checks for technical diving. What to expect The famous "Blue Cave" at Maeda Misaki is located in the central part of Okinawa, and it is a popular dive site not only for scuba diving but also for snorkeling and introductory dives. The cave's interior is spacious, and with a depth of around 6 meters, it is shallow enough for beginners to enjoy safely. Another dive site called YAMADA, where coral cultivation takes place, allows you to observe several species of anemonefish. A small boat will take you from the port to the dive site, and after each dive, you will return to the port in about 10 minutes. What to expect At Zanpa Misaki, you can enjoy dynamic terrain diving. Although there are hardly any original formations, there are amphibious tanks from World War II and a cavern located at a depth of 30 meters, making it suitable for advanced drift diving. There are numerous dive sites around Iejima, offering opportunities for exploring underwater terrain and sandy areas.
