"Enriched air " also known as "nitrox" refers to using a breathing gas mixture with a higher oxygen content than normal air. While the oxygen content in regular air is 21%, enriched air typically ranges from 22% to 40% oxygen. This higher oxygen concentration allows divers to extend their no-decompression limits and reduce the risk of decompression sickness.

What to expect Cape Hedo is located at the northernmost tip of Okinawa Main Island and is a popular diving spot featuring the famous Hedo Dome (Ginama Stalactite Cave). With three additional dive points, all offering drift diving, the seasonal spot Payao is especially famous for encountering of oceanic blacktip reef sharks, and schools of batfish. What to expect The USS Emmons (DD-457/DMS-22) Length: The overall length of the Gleaves-class destroyers, including the USS Emmons, was about 348 feet (106 meters). Beam: The beam, or width, of the ship was approximately 36 feet (11 meters). Draft: The draft, which is the depth of the ship below the waterline, was around 11 feet (3.4 meters). What to expect The famous "Blue Cave" at Maeda Misaki is located in the central part of Okinawa, and it is a popular dive site not only for scuba diving but also for snorkeling and introductory dives. The cave's interior is spacious, and with a depth of around 6 meters, it is shallow enough for beginners to enjoy safely. Another dive site called YAMADA, where coral cultivation takes place, allows you to observe several species of anemonefish. A small boat will take you from the port to the dive site, and after each dive, you will return to the port in about 10 minutes.
