What to expect
A secret spot located beyond the sugarcane fields! This is a popular dive site frequently visited by local divers around Onna Village. You can enter from the beach and descend to a depth of 18 meters, where you may observe white-tip sharks. There are several hard coral reefs, and on sunny days, the sight of the coral in the shallow areas shining in rainbow colors is unforgettable. There are three lined-up dive points, each with its entry, catering to experienced divers with the option of a long dive or a luxurious dive profile passing through two different dive points in one dive. There is also a high chance of encountering sea turtles, so please join us! EANx, SIDEMOUNT, and Double tank options are also available. Mermaid grotto
Maximum depth 18M
Mermaid Grotto, also known as Apogama, is a shore dive site located in Onna Village, Manza, Okinawa. From the entry point to the descent point, you’ll swim about 100 meters on the surface. The area features several cavern ,white-tip sharks, moray eels, and beautiful coral reefs. If you’re fortunate, you might even encounter sea turtles.
Uduigama
Uduigama is a continuation of Mermaid Grotto. The main feature is a hole in the bottom at a depth of around 28 meters, leading to a cave extending about 20 meters. Inside the cave, you’ll find a school of soldier fish, and if you’re lucky, there might be a few white-tip sharks.
Horse shoe ( Toilet bowl )
This site, also known as Toilet Bowl, requires a bit of a distance to reach, with a 5-minute walk while carrying your equipment. After entry, you immediately encounter a bottom at a depth of 40 meters, and you’ll swim along the shelf.
During the summer, you can observe pelagic creatures such as small barracudas and oceanic black-tip sharks. In the winter, you may also observe nudibranchs and other small marine organisms.
